The Basics of Flipping Your Classroom

March 15, 2016 By Rosie Filed Under: Featured, Flipped Classroom, Integrating Technology, Professional Development

In this video we cover three things you need to have a successfully flipped classroom and two tools that make it much easier.

Here’s a summary plus all of the links mentioned in the video.

Making Your Video

Screencast-o-matic is great for capturing your screen and producing lecture videos.

Some excellent sites for pre-made videos are Vimeo, TED Talks, Crash Course and Khan Academy.

Hosting Your Videos & Collecting Data

EdPuzzle will allow you to host your videos, bring in other videos from major sites like Vimeo, YouTube and more while also giving you the option to add quizzes and track student completion.
